TEXAS SIZE WARDROBE
Towering at just under 9 feet tall, this armoire was commissioned by an award winning equestrienne who came to me with a pair of cherished antique French doors and a vision:  a proper home for her riding attire.  The result is a truly grand “old” wardrobe.  At 110"H x 36"D x 42"W it is a towering presence.  The understate body is clad in 100 year old reclaimed pine flooring.  Custom iron strapping articulates the exterior while inside,  equestrian inspired wallpaper offers an unexpected contrast. Left unfinished, the wood retains every mark and scar, honoring a century of history.
